How cultural experiences can improve health and wellbeing

Professor Helen Chatterjee

Prof Helen Chatterjee is the Principal Investigator. Helen is a Professor in Biology in UCL’s School of Life and Medical Sciences, and Head of Research and Teaching for UCL’s Public and Cultural Engagement Department.

Her research interests include the value of cultural encounters in health and wellbeing, and the role of touch and object handling in health, wellbeing and education. She recently co-Founded the National Alliance for Museums, Health and Wellbeing.
