Dr Linda Thomson

Dr Linda J. Thomson, is a cognitive psychologist and Senior Research Associate for UCL Public and Cultural Engagement at University College London. She has been research lead for Arts and Humanities Research Council funded projects including ‘Heritage in Hospitals’ and currently ‘Museums on Prescription’. She recently developed the UCL Museum Wellbeing Measures Toolkit for assessing the benefits of heritage-focused activities on older adults and people with mild-to-moderate dementia.

Linda takes a particular interest in creative thought processes and the role of the senses in enhancing health and wellbeing.
